Flying, driving or walking. Post all your questions about travel, rooms, etc. Come back often for answers from fellow travelers. The hotel this year is the O'hare Wyndam (nice hotel, been there many times) This is the place to look for possible roomies or just a place we can all hook up for drinks, hugs, etc. Rooms ARE convention rate of $113 per night. REMEMBER WE ARE MATURE DEDICATED FANS.........................(no slobering allowed without a bib and wipes!) (ran out of wipes and bib, this year! Note to self, BRING MORE!) I'm samjacklover aka: sammy and I will be driving in early on Thursday live in WI only 1 hr away) DON'T WANT TO MISS THE ARRIVAL OF ANY GUESTS!!  I am renting a Chevy Impala to drive down in!!! Can't wait to see Jeter, and many many friends (old & new) that I have come to know and many more that I still need to meet! Can't wait to say HI again to the friends that I made from Creation Entertainment! The bar of choice in this hotel is Maxie's and it has been overran by fans back in Feb, 07 from the Fangoria con when Jared could not make it! They know all about Purple Nurples and such. I'm in B29. 2 seats over from where I sat this year. Wanted closer to center but couldn't get it. Oh well!!! Bring on '09 Con!!!

I'm going to be going next year too. But I don't think I'm gonna buy a gold pass ticket. I think I'll wait for the perfered seating for Sunday. I'm cheap and I don't have a job. I live like 40 min away from the hotel so I'll just drive in for that Sunday.

That's a good idea because those will sell fast. But I don't think I'm gonna get one. When I bought my tickets for the '08 convention in June it took me like an hour to decide if I wanted perfered or general admission because of my cheapness. But If I do get a photo op it'll just be with Jensen.

I'll be there!
I bought a Gold ticket and a photo op with Jensen. This will be my first Creation con. And the first time I'm meeting Jensen. I'm very excited. P.s. Does anyone know when I’ll get my seat number?
