That is the headline on TV Guide.com.
In the wake of the exits of Al Gough and Miles Millar, the CW's Smallville now has four show runners — and Erin Fox spoke to them all at Comic-Con. In this first video, Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer offer up, among other juicy sound bites, this take on Clark and Lois, who soon will be rubbing notepads at the "Daily Planet": "We've played Clark and Lois as brothers and sister... but this season, things change. [Working together] they can't deny that there are feelings there. The romantic banter, à la Moonlighting... the fans are going to love it." But will said banter necessarily lead to the boudoir? Look for that answer at the 2:45 mark. Follow the link to find the answer. http://community.tvguide.com/blog-en...on-8/800044240 |

![]() I find it odd that the writers would even say they have been written in a brotherly/sisterly way.. |

my guess is you look at all the comments the producers make they are open for alot of debate. The Chloe/Clark ones are vague as hell an could be intrepreted anyway while the brother sister comment for Lois and Clark will be passed off by Clois fans but used by other shipper groups to knock down Clois. Basically playing one shipper group off another(it's a common way for alot of non Clois fans to refer to them before the fact that interview came out). I notice the producers using alot of "buzzwords" that alot of fans throw out in message forums such as these. For instance i see alot of fans say they want to see Clark be more proactive for months now and all of a suddden in the spoilers you might hear the word proactive used for Clark a couple times Last edited by derek1234 : 07-31-2008 at 07:43 PM. |

so you think that they are paying attention to what fans are saying? but in their attempt to please everyone they may bungle it all.

I think they have bungled, tbh. I'm not a Chloiser or a Chlarker, but I have a lot of friends who are, that have just decided to tune out because of these spoilers. And if the Clois group doesn't get what they've been promised, then they might stop watching as well. They're already hurting from the Lex and Lana fans (and subsequent ships, Clana, Lexana, and some of the Clexers have given up). I keep thinking that maybe they should just sthu and promote the show without teasing so much! |

Although I am a Lois fan, i could live without Clois season 8 as long as they tell a good Clark storyline, the Clois stuff though icing on the cake but if it goes the route of Clana(ie a relationship full of angst) it will instantly turn me off. |

I think Clark and Lois' relationship for the 8th season will be a combination of the 4th season and the 150th episode, Apocalypse.

I agree with you that after four or so years the Clois group will tune off, but I agree with Derek me on the personal level I can do without Clois just the hint of it is enough for me. I want more Clark. Yes I wish they would stop trying to please everyone and just get down to mythological business. They should have done so from the very start. Even if not straight at least most so it would make sense. |
