"Get To Know Supernatural":
A Plan To Get New Viewers! Hi all!  I have been thinking about the importance of Supernatural garnering new viewers, well, for at least a year now. After last year's scare with us worrying about getting a season three, a very simple thought often runs through my mind: We just need MORE VIEWERS! We SN fans have done a bunch of amazing things -- campaigns to thank sponsors, raising money for charities, promoting the heck out of the show and helping it get some good press, etc., etc. But when it comes right down to it, if we want more viewers, there is one simple thing we all can do! We need to get our friends to watch The Pilot and
"Get To Know Supernatural"! That is it! Easy, right? So that is our new mission, should you choose to accept it! We know how hard it is to jump into a show as complex and awesome as this one is without all the background stories and lore. We also know how wonderful The Pilot is and how it can hook a viewer immediately! If every Supernatural viewer simply got ONE friend to watch, we'd double our viewership!!!!!!!!!! I don't care if you have to bribe a friend with cookies, a back rub, dinner our or even cash to watch, I think it is worth it! Kripke may suggest that this show should last five seasons (and we can argue forever that we want more!) but right now, we have a 4th season. We do not have a 5th yet. We can guarantee a 5th if we double the amount of people watching! JennaGayle2006 sent me a link to a great article that I'll list below. Forward it on to a friend and let them know they can borrow your season one DVDs!!!!!!  Here is the FANTASTIC article to share with someone who has never watched the show. If the first person you offer to let borrow your DVDs says no, move on! Please feel free to share past success stories in this thread and any new tactics you use to gain a new viewer! Good luck and wish me luck as well!!!!! P.S. Oh and you folks at the CW, it would be really great if you could run Seasons 1, 2 and 3 all summer long as an additional way to hook new viewers. If there are legal or monetary issues that prevent you from airing Seasons 1 and 2, then promoting Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD would be very smart!

this is such a freakin awesome idea!!!!!i mean i've posted so many posts previously about this, but it just seemed to go unnoticed!!!!anywayz, last weeked, i had my friends over fr a visit, and i made them watch the pilot--and ofcourse, as everyone else's first time with SN, they were hooked!!!!we watched upto the third eppy, but then they had to leave--but they said that they would love to watch SN!!!!!

that's a really good idea and kinda funny because last year in grade eight i had a supernatural pic on my binder and every started calling me supernatural or super for short, anyway peoplke were always like what's supernatural and i was like its the best tv show ever and so my friend started watching it once and a while so that's one for me! i have both seasons and i always tel people to come over and watch them with me because i'm to protective of them to lend them to other people and when there are no new episodes i watch the old ones.

I thik this is part of the reason CW doesn't promote Supernatural. You guys do most of it for them. This way, they can redirect millions of dollars to other shows. Kinda brilliant of them.
