Viciously?
Anyways, I did say that she wasn't overrated, just popular. I personally see a lot of potential in her. She has a look that people either love or hate, and I'm one of those who likes that look. Her bone structure looks amazing, it's like her face was sculpted by an artist. There are a few african american models with a very strong and sculpted bone structure in high fashion, like Alek Wek. Those girls are not conventionally pretty, but modeling is not always about conventional beauty.
If you look at Grace Jones, for instance:

She's definatly not the kind of woman that would fit the stereotypical beauty. The fact that she looks so androgenous is very interesting. It's a look that you don't see that often in high fashion, so it's nice to see ANTM going for different kind of high fashion girls. With girls like Fatima, Marvita and Kimberly, they are reaching out to different types of models that they rarely have on the show.
Wether Marvita will do good or not, who knows... But why shouldn't people be allowed to like her? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Like I said, some people think she is ugly, others think she's beautifull. In her pre-show picture, I think there's a certain natural elegance to her pose. She needs to work on softening her face and playing with her angles so that her nose doesn't look as big, but every contestant has to work on something. If they were perfect already, they would not be on ANTM. If she turns out to be the next Jaeda, Eugena, Ann or Kim, then so be it. She won't be popular anymore. But right now, we can't tell how she is going to perform. So if people like her pre-show pictures, why not praise her the same way Katarzyna fans are praising her, and Kimberly fans are praising her, and every other contestants are being praised by their fans?
